Vocab Lesson: Hammam and Cassis

Yesterday, I mentioned two vocabulary words I picked up during my favorite weekend hobby. Let’s explore.

The article, in Elle Decor, was titled “35 Ways to Holiday at Home.” According to The Washington Post¬†“bathing usually is a simple operation, but in a Moroccan hammam, it’s not your typical rub-a-dub-dub.”

Sounds nice, really, but a little bit complicated for an at-home vacation.

Same article, but this time: “sex up your vanilla ice cream by making your own cassis.” Intriguing, no?

Cassis is basically as liqueur made from black currants. That does sound yummy over ice cream! My Tiny Plot shared her cassis recipe. Sounds easy enough.

So, what do you think? Any hammam or cassis in your future?
