So much better! There is nothing like a fresh coat of white paint to make a space feel bright and clean. And the edge detail? I say why not add a fun punch of color wherever you can.

And adding the paint was easy. I picked up a pre-tinted paint sample by Martha Stewart from Home Depot.The color I chose is Araucana Teal. For only $2.99, it’s the perfect amount of paint for small projects.

I used a small foam brush to apply the paint.

All it took was a light coat of paint on the brush and a swipe down the side.

Two coats was plenty. I just made sure my hand was nice and steady and there were no problems with the lines.

After all the paint was dry, it was time to put everything back together.
