Master Bathroom Design Boards

Based on Saturday’s inspiration photos, I put together a few design boards to help me decide the final look of the master bathroom.

Option 1:

  1. First we have to decide on the materials for the cabinets and the counter top. This option shows a walnut stain on the cabinet with a light, stone-like counter top.
  2. LOVE this ticking stripe shower curtain from Pottery Barn.
  3. Chrome faucets will match hardware already in the room (the light fixtures and tub/shower hardware are staying).
  4. Two frame-less medicine cabinets, one for each of us, add a modern touch in an otherwise traditional design.
  5. Tile floor to blend with the counter top.

The wall color in this option is a dark taupe-y gray and makes the other choices pop.

Option 2:

This option swaps out the walnut cabinet for white. The counter top here is a bit darker, and the wall color a bit lighter.

Option 3:

Enter a stripey blue and white shower curtain with a light blue wall to match. This option adds more color, but might be less soothing.

Stay tuned for the final decision.

since your bedroom furniture is dark….i would go with option 1. like them all though…they have the same feel as your other two baths!
