Learn with Me: Updating a Bathroom

Our master bathroom is functional. But that’s about it. The time has come to make it into something more.

I’ve never updated a bathroom start to finish. Have you? I’ll be honest it’s a bit overwhelming. But I’m going to take it one step at a time and share with you as I go. Hope you’ll join me and give me some advice if you’re an old pro.

So, where do we begin? How about a little inspiration?

After many, many internet searches and looking at over 200 inspiration photos, there was really only one that stood out from the crowd.

I like everything about it from the wood cabinet to the white marble counter top. The mirror is cohesive with the cabinet, and the counter top blends right in with the floor.

I’m afraid, though, that it’s a bit boring.Maybe we need some more sparkle and shine?

Or more color?

Which do you like? Any advice for me? I’d love to hear. I’m giving myself a three day limit to come up with the design board for the room. If I don’t give myself a deadline this could go on forever. So for now, the basement is on hold and the living room is going to stay mostly like it is. I need to focus my efforts here.
