Get ‘Er Done: My 35 Before 35 List
OMG. I’m 30 (as of today).
The tick of the life clock just got a little louder (Dramatic? Yes.). Forty seems way too far away, so here’s my 35 before 35 list. (OMG. In five years I’ll be 35.)

In no particular order, I will:
- Make a fancy cake, all by myself, that tastes as good as it looks.
- Sew a dress for each of my nieces.
- Raise/donate at least $5,000 for Alzheimer’s Disease research.
- Build a piece of furniture from scratch.
- Show Jake where I lived in London.
- Throw a super cool party (just to prove that people who use the words “super cool” can do just that).
- Finish decorating our living room.
- Upgrade our basement to something livable.
- Organize photos.
- Develop a “signature dish” that everyone loves and raves about.
- Find 490 more people to subscribe to this blog (To the 10 of you who already do – Yay! Love you.)
- Take better photos (and figure out what the heck aperature means).
- Make my own s’mores. From scratch.
- Help Jake make a raised vegetable garden.
- Watch less trashy TV.
- Take a staycation and revisit all the neat things to do around here.
- Go on a completely unplanned, spur-of-the-moment trip
- Go to the Kentucky Derby, hat and all.
- Eat at Chik-Fil-A to see what all the fuss is about.
- Not get a tatoo, no matter how tempting it should become during “oh my God I’m old” moments.
- Drive up north while the leaves are turning to fall colors.
- Win the Super Bowl chili cookoff at the Stump’s house.
- Talk to my friends more.
- Always give the best gifts and send the best cards.
- Get in shape, girl.
26-35: I can’t share everything on this blog. You understand.
Now go show the world what you can do. Don’t forget your rhythm ribbon.
