Door Knobs and Blinds

Due to an impending visit from a dear friend, I felt some pressure last weekend to get a couple small projects done. Just simple things that make a big difference.

First up – crystal door knobs. According to the box, these are actually “door furniture.” Furniture or knobs, either way they make me smile.

Next – blinds in the kitchen (instead of the Roman shade I was looking for). They definitely warm up the space.

    i am in LOVE with your crystal knobs and become so jealous when i am at your house. i think they are so charming and add a unique touch to houses today which look much too cookie-cutter. i’d love to do this in our next house.

    Thanks! I love them too. I have to give the credit to my mom on that one though. Her idea. Her last house had all crystal door knobs.
