Case of the Extra Pizza Dough

Our meal plan for the week had us eating beef roast and spaghetti squash today. Tasty, yes. But not exactly basketball-watching food, and it is March Madness after all. So instead, we’re making steak pizza and queso dip. Of course I didn’t have all of the ingredients for either of those things, so Jake set out to the grocery store.

Before he left, I got out the bread machine and put in all the ingredients to make a pizza dough. I hit start. Did you know that pizza dough takes an hour and 30 minutes? Well, I had no idea. So Jake added pizza crusts to his grocery list and I made the pizza dough anyway. It didn’t make much sense to throw out the ingredients.

And then I remembered a recipe I had seen in Real Simple magazine. Easy Cinnamon Bread- sounds perfect for breakfast. I’ll cut the recipe and half. I don’t have a bundt pan, so I’ll  have to figure something else out. But I’m sure it will be tasty.
